I have been working on creating the best horseradish sauce to go with some of our beef and pork dishes and I think have finally conquered it. Unfortunately, I didn’t really measure this recipe. I did it more by taste, but this is probably as close as I can get by guessing on the amounts I used.
I added this to my Horseradish Crusted Beef Roast and it was amazing!
- 1/2 cup grated horseradish root
- 1T apple cider vinegar
- 1t salt
- 1/4t lemon juice
- 2T sour cream
- 1T dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1-2T finely chopped shallot
- 1/4t garlic powder
- 1/4t smoked paprika
- salt, pepper & smoked paprika to taste
- Mix all but the last line of ingredients together in a bowl. Add the salt, pepper and smoked paprika to taste.
- Since I made this recipe by taste, the measurements may be a little off. Feel free to add what you need to suit your liking.
