Making homemade mayo is easy and delicious. I got this recipe from The Healthy Foodie and tweaked it just a little bit. v Too make it work right, you need to use an immersion blender – that is one of those stick blenders. I have only tried this with the whisk attachment, but The Healthy Foodie uses the blade attachment. I haven’t used a blender or food processor either, but feel free to give it a shot if you don’t have an immersion blender.
Feel free to jazz it up a bit by adding herbs, mustard or even a little horseradish. This recipe fills a pint jar, so be sure to have some plans for it’s use; because of it’s lack of preservatives, homemade mayo only lasts about a week in the fridge. Sorry I don’t have a photo for you!
